An Open Letter to Artists
Dear Artists,
We will only have the Mezzanine available for Animazement 2012.
But we want to see the Artist’s Alley grow. Right now our best option is the event space besides the Dealer’s Room. It’s enormous. But unfortunately that space comes with a high price and right now our numbers don’t support it. And by that, we mean, we could make only full tables available, accept every applicant and double the price and we’d just might make it. Maybe. And that’s not even including badges. That’s beyond unreasonable.
We want to get there and we think we can. Please tell all your friends and have them tell their friends and have them tell their friends. Post on forums. Tweet it. We’re asking you for help to drum up interest in Animazement’s Artist Alley. Ask everyone if they want to be in the Animazement Artist Alley and direct them to http://www.animazement.org. If we can get the numbers, we can get the room.
What This Would Mean:
- Proxy sellers will be allowed but will require verification from the artist(s)/studio
- Artist Alley & Art Room would share the same space.
- Event Room is a lockable room, it would not be 24hrs.
- Max space per artist/studio is 2 tables.
- Table islands will be larger and spacious (tables are the same size: 8 ft. x 2.5 ft.)
Ideally it would be around the same cost. At most, $110/full or $55/half. If you’re willing or unwilling to pay the maximum price, please let us know. This will help gauge interest for the Event Room. Again, please keep in mind that this will not be available for 2012.
